Why Chocolates?
Whenever I think of chocolates , a sort of frenzy begins in me . And why wouldn’t it be ? Time and again it has been proven scientifically that chocolates contain magnesium which helps in the release of endorphins, the happy hormone as many of you many know off. Cocoa beans have been found to have a varied concentration of essential amino acids like phenylalanine which in turn helps in the production of dopamine, a neurotransmitter which regulates our mood swings . Certain amino acids are also connected to the production of serotonin – the neurotransmitter which in turn acts as an anti-depressant. Folks, you’ve got to be mindful of that. Do you already find your mind wandering off to Bournville Dark Chocolate? Well then wait and read through till the end. You’re bound to be surprised.

When I walked into Harriston Boutique, I was left flabbergasted. The shop was packed with premium chocolates where one could get their dose of sumptuous happiness in all its delectable forms. The staff was very welcoming and helpful as they had already handpicked some of the best ones for us and compiled them in a list.
Assorted Chocolates Voila!
Ruby Buttons (closely followed by Harriston Almond Dark Chocolate with Tiramisu) happens to be my personal favourite. How I wish somebody would parcel me the entire lot. I can never get enough of that.
Tiramisu Chocolates are flawlessly toasted almonds smothered in Harriston’s smooth milk chocolate, which are topped off with a light coating of tiramisu powder. They are an ideal on their own but when paired with coffee or tea, they serve as a delightful treat which is bound to become your instant favourite.. They come in all forms of portable packs. Excellent for tourists like me who grabs one on the go while exploring the city.
Furthermore, delightful ingredients like caramelized hazelnuts are also used in a few products here. Harriston has been crafting chocolates of every sort since 2005. For they believe that the best chocolate not only comes from carefully selected ingredients, but also from the people who pour their love into the making of one. The culture and heritage which the people of Malaysia embrace makes it unique like no other.
Last but not the least, the packaging of the chocolates is commendable. Grab as many as you can for souvenirs for your loved ones. I ran short of them. Devoured them all on my way back to India.
Malaysia – terima kasih sayang !
